Healing Hands Health provides affordable, community-supported care that allows individuals with limited insurance coverage to restore their quality of life. Qualified residents of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia can receive medical, behavioral health, dental, vision, and supportive care - typically for $50 or less at each routine visit, including diagnostic testing.

Do you meet the income requirement to become a patient?
Our services have income requirements due to funding limitations and the promotion of healthcare equity, so we can focus our care on the people who need it the most. Care eligibility is based on total household income, which may not exceed 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (listed in the provided chart).
All applicants must bring their most recent paystubs, tax returns and income information for all members of their household to their first appointment.

Medical Eligibility
Complete primary care covering physicals, short-term sickness, long-term conditions, medication help, specialist referrals, and wellness programs.
You meet the household income requirements (see chart above)
You have no private medical insurance, no TennCare, no Medicaid, and no Medicare
You are an adult living in Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia
Behavioral Health Eligibility
Compassionate care for mental health, substance abuse, addiction, and behavior or lifestyle challenges impacting your well-being.
You meet the household income requirements (see chart above)
You have no private medical insurance, no TennCare, no Medicaid, and no Medicare
You are an adult living in Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia
Behavioral health services coming soon
Dental Eligibility
Dental care including exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions, dentures and partials to help you live without dental pain.
You meet the household income requirements (see chart above)
You have no private dental insurance (can have limited dental insurance like TennCare, Medicaid, or Medicare)
You are an adult living in Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia
We are not accepting new dental patients at this time. Please check back July 2024 for potential availability.
Vision Eligibility
Vision care with eye exams and eyeglasses for better eye health and improved vision so you can work more efficiently and enjoy life with confidence.
You meet the household income requirements (see chart above)
You have no private vision insurance, TennCare, no Medicaid, and no Medicare
You or a household member worked in the last year (except retirees or students)
You are an adult living in Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia
Supportive Eligibility
Community health workers provide personalized advocacy, access to resources, and empowering education to help you thrive in your community.
You currently receive care from Healing Hands Health
Free Health Fair Eligibility
Wellness checkups, X-rays, school sports physicals, blood sugar checks, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, pap smears, lab work, and more at no cost to you.
You are an adult living in Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia
